The Temperature
of Dreams
Science suggests that the optimal room temperature for deep sleep is approximately 18.3°C (65°F). During rest, the body naturally lowers its internal temperature to trigger melatonin release and signal biological recovery.
This is why luxury sleep environments often emphasize cold textures, breathable fabrics, stone surfaces, and low ambient heat. The body interprets coolness as safety — a signal that it is finally allowed to let go.
